For Centerville's small space remodel, the requirement was to create a computer lab that also serves as an esports arena. The design centered around 10 gaming stations with the school logo branded on the wall for a cohesive look. Acoustic panels were added for sound management and aesthetics, and a small viewing area with forum soft seating was incorporated, including a cabinet for gaming consoles to facilitate 1 v 1 gaming.
School administrators were looking for an arena style vibe with extra computer stations for curriculum. Mediatechnologies was given the green light to deck it out with logos and acoustics to create a vibrant atmosphere in which students can compete, collaborate, and focus on coursework. The space features a row of Cirrus Gaming Stations capable of a 5 v 5 set up, along with 18 club style stations. Students not in play are able to enjoy peer-to-peer camaraderie as well as cheer on their Varsity team in this Innovative Classroom setup.
