We really enjoy the Spectator furniture, it’s been designed to be armless to allow freedom of movement for anyone watching. It allows the audience a really flexible space so that they can rotate about the room to see different athlete’s points of view. It also encourages more of a close community feel with the other people watching."
"Pinnacle Network Solutions and mediatechnologies had previously worked with F1S in 2019 to provide 'the finest video broadcasting classroom in the state of South Carolina,' and they came back to us for this esports program launch because of our ability to be agile within their perimeters and meet/exceed the goals and timelines of the project."
"We want our student athletes and spectators to have a rich and immersive experience in our new space."

Educational Opportunities: Beyond gaming, the arena serves as a learning hub where students can gain skills in broadcasting, video production, and social media management.
Enhanced Student Experience: The esports program has significantly increased student engagement, providing opportunities for teamwork, strategic thinking, and problem-solving.
Mediatechnologies delivered a turnkey solution encompassing the design, equipment supply, and installation of the esports arena:
The primary challenge was creating a multifunctional esports arena that could cater to both competitive gaming and general student use. The district required a solution that balanced the dynamic needs of esports competitions with everyday educational activities. Additionally, there was a need for effective cable management to maintain aesthetics and functionality in the gaming setup.
Florence 1 Schools partnered with Mediatechnologies to develop a cutting-edge esports arena called "Friday Night Bytes," aiming to enhance their educational offerings and student engagement through competitive gaming. This collaboration was built on a foundation of trust and a history of successful projects with the district.
